An elderly pastor made it a habit to visit the parish school once a week. One day he sat in on a fourth grade geography class and listened as the students attempted to name all fifty states. When they could only name about forty, he jokingly remarked "In my day, children could name all of the states!" One smart alek retorted that in his day, there were only thirteen states to remember!
