Joyeux Noël

Recklessly wasting the last bit of air
A half forgotten world
Is lying, encased in Eve's red blood
The shackles of sin she must bear

A paradise created for an innocent bride
Now dies of poisoned wine
A million souls that rot away
Behind their folly hide

One lonely girl holds a ray of light
In her icy human hands
Bewildered by one pale child
Whose screams pierce the moonless night

The dying do not feel it yet
But the air is clean again
For Maria's child chose not to breathe
And died to pay their debt

It is a lot shorter than I expected! (but still good!)
