This has been some week. I can't believe Octover is already half over! I spent the night with Kathryne last week. We painted pumpkins, rode on a tractor hayride, and she rather thoughtlessly ran right into an electric fence immediately after walking through cow remains. Silly.
Also at this same farm I gave into peer pressure, attempting to climb a tree and having large suspections it couldn't be done. This resulted in large scrapage of the leg.
Tuesday night we had our first choir concert of the year. We had been invited by the homeschool band to sing with them at the beginning of their concert and also to perform a few of our own songs. Like our previous spring concert, the theme was God and Country, and so all we had to do was several weeks of brushup on our patriotic pieces. Yay.
After our rehearsal we ate dinner at Furr's. THAT was good times. I'd never been to a Furr's - let me tell you, it is a smorgasbord of goodness and temptation. Marred only by the accusatory looks I got from my sister - condemnation for eating fried foods before a performance - and by the waiter's insistence on removing plates before I could get every last morsel off. Let's just see him try that roast beef stealing move one more time. :-D
That's really all I have for now. Oh yes, if you care to hear me sing, you may visit this link. Haha

Yay! I love your arrangement and recording of that song!
Furr's was great fun. All those marvelous tour memories, saltwater and cheesy okra!
