Spring Formal

So last night was the 2008 Spring Formal. :-) I was pretty nervous, and I was feeling very sorry that I had been talked into going. We bought my dress the day before from a thrift store - it shouldn't be legal for such a pretty dress to only cost $4.50!



My sister convinced me to let her do my hair. I shall admit to being a bit apprehensive, and I now admit that my doubts were totally unfounded. Thanks sis, it was totally and completely gorgeous.

I met my friends there, of course everyone looked very lovely, and we all sort of wandered in together. Great, too late to chicken out now!!!!





The theme was Enchanted, which worked out quite nicely. I hear that last year's theme was Breakfast at Tiffany's, which I think would've been nice too.


After the dance got over at like 12:30, we went to IHOP of course. We found out something cool - they give you free cups of chocolate chips if you ask for them.



It was like 2am or so and Aaron and Bri had sort of dozed off at their booth when our obnoxious waitress went over, slammed her hands down on their table and screamed "Wake up!!!" in their faces and ran off. Aaron leaped to his feet and for a second I really thought he was going to run after her and slug her. It was so bad.


Since that lady wouldn't let him sleep at the booth Aaron had to resort to sleeping outside the IHOP. Lol, actually I think he was darted. It takes a brave man to be cooperatively darted in dress clothes. Not I....



We got to Brit's house after 2:30 and then we messed around, watched home videos, and finally crashed at like 5am.



That was pretty much it. I had a blast, and I would be all in favor of a Summer Formal and a Fall Formal and and Autumn Formal... :-)
