First of all we returned to Texas (yeehaw) as previously mentioned to put together the yearbook, which went splendidly. It was finished in record time which was very nice. We had a really great time trying out the Reese's pool, even factoring in the "injuries" we received. They were, after all, somewhat self induced. I got to see my old ballet friends and watch most of a recital rehearsal. I am still upset about not getting to do it. :-( Many many many thanks to the Reeses for letting us invade their house.
Oh...one last thought. I have spent 20 minutes searching the web and would you believe that I've found absolutely nothing about a certain phobia? Interesting, especially as I have no recollection of this...
Our trip to the mountains of NM was great. We had a whole weekend of total unhurriedness. Let me tell you, having no where to go and no place to be and nobody telling you to do anything is my kind of place. I got in some exercise of my own volition, even though I didn't go about it quite right and I am suffering with really sore legs right now.
I got to eat fresh grilled rainbow trout that I didn't even have to catch, courtesy of those members of our party who love to fish and hate fish. I was also surprised with an early birthday party, of which I was only slightly suspicious. I got some really cool clothes, a hot pink mp3 player (yeah!), a book and locket. Wow! :-)
Less exciting news is unfortunately coming. My grandparents were driving home - my grandfather in the motorhome, towing the pop-up trailer, my grandmother in the van - when they heard an explosion and veered off the road. Oh horror, the whole thing burned up. It's GONE. Everyone is safe - even Mikey, their dog - but oh, what they lost. Click HERE for a link to the story in the Albuquerque news. In the text, theirs is the first story, if you watch the video, it's the second clip. *sniff* I am so upset about this.
Pray for Zachary

You came to Texas? Without bothering to see the Fearings?? How could you! I mean sure maybe it's not that important, but surely with a week in town you could drop by, just like that one day...
not JUST like that day, but all the same...
I can't imagine why it would just self-destruct--going down the highway--for little or no reason--unless there is some explanation unheard of.... Who can tell why God does what he does?
Take care
Petr
Oh, and how could I forget? Happy Birdy!
