Last weekend I went to CYF Mid-Winter with my youth group. Three last days with my church and camp friends, you see. It was so much fun! I haven't seen these people since last June, and man have they changed. I know that's a redundant statement, but it's true. A lot of the people I befriended last summer no longer have any interest in talking to me :-( but there's also a lot of new friends. I know that none of you know these people, but the kids that came with me from my church are Tyler, Miché, Ryan, Doug, Cassie, and Eric. My small group members were Sarah, Tim, Josh, Kiya, Mark, Travis and Andrew. Kinda slim on the girls, I know.
In fact, the whole camp was a bit short on girls. The boys thought they could make up for this by attacking us in our weakened state, flinging us in the air and tickling us mercilessly! I would like you all to know, however, that I carried Tim, who weighs 200 pounds, a whole 30 feet! yay for me. :-)
Camp food was surprisingly bad, I'm not going to lie. I usually love the food; what happened?!?? I was hungry for a whole weekend!
It also rained and hailed the whole weekend, but I love the rain a whole bunch so I was just a happy duck. It did spoil the bonfire but hey, small sacrifices.
The theme for the weekend was Jesus Gives You Wings. We modified the Red Bull logo
Changing the two bulls to wings.
Our small groups were energy drinks: Vault, Rockstar, Red Bull, and I don't remember the rest. As you all know, I am not an energy drink aficionado. It was a good theme, though.
Saying names, I guess, makes them permanent. It sets them forever..
Sara Vanzzini, Sarah McClure, Sarah Fleet, Bethany, Katie, Briana, Courtney, Joy, Erin, Christa, Amanda, Peter, Andrew, Jeff, Caleb J, Caleb Boggess, Josh, Steffen, Aarin, Nick, Giancarlo, Esther, Elya, Jesse, Branden, Logan, Evan, Luke, Chris, Tyler, Robbie, Kyle, Miché, Cassie, Ashton, Norah, Deanne, Ian, Ryan, Eric, Samantha, Brandon, Andy, Lauren Williams, Lauren Whitten, Arthur, Nita, Mark, The A's, Ms. Pat, Hannah, Mary Kat.....
The list goes on and on. There have been so many books written about how you leave an impression on everyone you meet. You all have an impression in my heart, sappy though that may seem. I guess you all have probably forgotten me by now, but I hope one or two of you remember. I think I could make a poem out of that....maybe?
Hey, do you all have photobuckets? Just wondering. Link?
Here's to new friends and old!
P.S. My backyard has about six inches of solid ice. We could make it an ice rink if we has skates....

How dare you suggest that we might actually forget you!!!! Stupid! That's impossible! Now I will admit that no one (including me) is going to spend our every waking hour lamenting you leave, but that doesn't mean that we would actually forget you!! >:) Forget you, what a retard!
Forget you???!! That is utterly ridiculous!! I can always remember you as one of the stranger girls in the homeschool groups...
LOL!!
BTW, I find it quite strange that I'm the first guy on the list...
:)
Gonna miss you people eventually.

I haven't forgotten you and I really don't think any body else has either! By the way, weren't you supposed to email me Lily's address so I could have hers and yours too?
I have a very lovely cd player and cotton balls here. We are also missing the front plate of the radio. Is there a possible exchange?
I went here first since we dont' have an address. I think you have our email.
So thats where my cotton balls are! We have already sent your radio plate and I'm sure Jc_penny would love to have her blue cd player back!
