Several musings and an unwilling farewell

Question: If you set out to fail and succeed, what have you done?

Today I took my math outside for a little "change in environment" and enjoyed an extended period of time outside with just me and the leaves falling around. Funny, I kinda rediscovered the strange and unknown phenomenon of silence. The only dim spot...the knowlege that I would soon be raking up all those leaves. Definitely a discouraging thought. :-D

Then we picked up Elya and headed off to homeschool bowling where we were alone in our teenship. Meaning that none of you showed up. *glares* But we still had fun. I bowled a Srike on my first turn; a Strike at any point is exciting (for me) and so the thrill was pretty much doubled at having accomplished this on my very first try. ;-)

Then we came home where I helped in the preparing of dinner -- a strange new dish entitled "Sautéed Apples and Chicken." For the recipe, click here.

So I was cutting up the chicken with my handy "Kitchen scissors" and thinking how gross slimy raw chicken was...and then I noticed it looked like fish. Yeah, didn't add much to it's case. Ewwww!

And last but not least...try to accept the heartbreaking news with as little sobbing as possible......

Joey & Edyta have been eliminated!!!!! Noooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Several couples on Dancing With The Stars have been eliminated since I posted my last DwtS update, but this is the latest and most devastating. I am mortified. I can't bring myself to post their picture with a red X over it, so I'll post it as it should remain, complete with a mini gallery,
the best of Joey. *tear*

I wish I could have been at bowling, but it's very difficult to babysit and go bowling at the same time.
Well, unless you take your babysittees(?) wih you, but that wasn't an option.

I might go bowling some day. I've not done much, but I like it and I'm not that bad (comparitively).

Honestly, JCP, you are wwwaaaaaayyyy too far into this dancing thing. I mean dad says "gag" whenever he hears or sees any ad for it, and my response is almost the same. Why are you following it so close, anyways? That is, what, an hour or so every couple nights spent watching this silly show with, er, less than well dressed, um, I'm not sure "wierdos" is the right term, showing off.

Boy! I must dislike that show more than I thought! I just ramble on.

But seriously, why bother watching it?
