Eagle Scouts and Disappointment

Yesterday we attended Caleb's Court of Honor. It was a very nice ceremony....speeches and slideshows and of course, LOTR music. :-D My favorite part was Rev. Tebbe's "speech." There's a lot of adult males in this world, and a lot fewer real men. I applaud Eagle Scouts all over, for theirs is a truly admirable achievement!

And about All-State....I was supposed to go audition today; we found out Thursday night at 11:00pm that we'd been rehearsing the wrong music. For three and a half stinkin' months I've been rehearsing the wrong music! I spent most of my Friday singing and singing and singing, attempting to learn the right music. To absolutely no avail. We decided together that attempting the imposssible would be futile. All that....and now I couldn't even audition. *sigh*

Congratulations to Brandon and Andy Wilson on making All-Region! Really, guys, I'm so proud of you. Go knock 'em dead!

I was so bummed about not getting to go to Caleb's Eagle. Sorry Caleb!
I am so sorry you did not get the right music. That must have been exasperating.
