The Most Beautiful Word
In your opinion, what is the most beautiful word in the English language? Though many of them mean things much less beautiful, some very lovely ones to say are amaryllis, treachery, euphonious, memorial, luminous, halcyon, cantankerous, and vivacious. In fact, the British Council polled over 40,000 people to find out what the most beautiful is. Do you know what the number one result was? Mother. Above passion, liberty, love, and eternity, mother hit closest to the hearts of thousands. Interestingly enough, Father wasn't even in the published top 70.
But do you know what my favorite word is? The word that sounds the lovliest to my ear...Beloved. To me, knowing that I am Beloved wakes me up in the morning, puts a smile on my face when I look into the mirror, and brings me through the Hate and the Anger and the Greed, the ugliest words in my vocabulary. It sees me safely to the end of the day so I can kneel beside my bed, fold my hands, and whisper simple words of gratitude to The One who made me, fearfully and wonderfully in His image, the One who loves me more than the world, enough to sacrifice all he had, just for me.

I'm gonna go with mother. Because mother includes the beloved. You know, a mother's husband, children, parents, siblings, and friends, they're all beloved.
