The Night I Felt God

Last night, it stormed like we haven't seen in a long time. The thunder was so colossal it shook the bed underneath me. I could see God smiling as he sent the thunder rolling across the sky. The thunder represents power; it represents the power of God. The lightning was brilliant white and came in such rapid succession, it was better than the 4th of July. At one moment, the whole sky was lit bright as day for a whole minute. I imagined God, sending each bolt down, exactly where he wanted it, pondering where the next should be sent. And the rain. It came down in sheets, coming faster and faster and faster. Thousands upon thousands of tiny drops of life, bringing the hope of everlasting life. It all came together into a grand Symphony - with God conducting. I fell asleep thinking that there was only plaster and a few shingles between me and the power and beauty of God.

Sorry, I want to really bad, but I don't think I'll be able to make it. I have a lot of things going on pretty soon. I know you'll do great!
