The Party

After ridding ourselves of Nikily & F.Wallabie (see FW's blog) , we went inside to partake of Christa's delicious chicken quesadillas. After dinner, we made chokers for the ball, hooray! In my case, I might add "attempted to make," atrocious sewer that I am. My sewing consists mainly of random stitches and knots. They actually turned out rather nicely, in my opinion, of course.

Poor Bethany had to go home after watching The God's Must Be Crazy, sick with the flu. Of course, we all probably have the flu now! Oh darn. We were all laughing Before watching the new P&P, we looked at each other (like we never do that) and decided what we all looked like. Here's what we came up with:

Esther was Charity (after a fierce battle with Claire, in which we mentioned a compromise of "Clarity"), Sarah was Allison; Courtney we decided should be Madison, we voted Elya a definite Samantha, Christa resembled a Marian, Briana was Cora (not that she's a fat old lady), and I think they finally decided I looked like a Jennifer. It was either that or Heather, and Jamie was also mentioned. You boys will not appreciate this silly game, but it's great fun at girl parties.

We discussed the ball, of course, our favorite dances and dancing partners (results of this conversation ommitted) and retold zillions of scary stories and dreams we'd had.

I only got 4 hours of sleep, but hey, I'm allowed to slack off every once in a while, aren't I?
