We're leaving tonight to go out of state, so you won't hear from me for a couple of days. I'll leave you with a short devotional. :-)

To Think About

You don't get anywhere by "hoping." If a football coach told his team "Good luck! You guys go run a round a little, it will probably build up your muscles. See you Friday night for the game!" What would happen? They would lose, of course.

Think for a minute where you want to be at this time next year. Then you have to figure out a way to get there. If you want to bring your Calculus grade up to an A-, figure out how to get it. If you want to have read the whole Bible, figure out how to do it. If you want to grow closer to God, it's not going to happen without a plan. Remember: If you get in a canoe and push out on a swift river, where will you go? Downstream. The current is pulling you away from God. Make a plan!
