Brian Reagan and the theatre -- What do you expect!!!?!??!

Last night after we blocked the curtain call and finished taking pictures...and more pictures....and more pictures, Lauren and I were poking around the ladies dressing room looking for horn rimmed glasses and blue eye shadow when we found a score from Bye Bye Birdie! We grinned at each other and simultaneously began a zealous (the link, btw, is Kenneth Wyatt's Simon the Zealot) rendition of "Healthy Normal American Boy," "One Last Kiss," and "You Gotta Be Sincere," Till the boys in the hall complained that blood was running out of their ears. The idea. Well, determined our fun should not be spoiled, we gave a rather loud recitation of The Conrad Birdie Pledge....

I, being of sound mind and body, do hereby promise to be loyal, faithful, steadfast and true to Conrad Birdie and the United States of America, both indivisable, with liberty and justice for all!

Happily waltzing away, glasses and eye shadow in hand, we left them with tears in their eyes at our beautiful singing. *snicker*
