Years Ahead...

Some people say I'm crazy for looking so far into the future. Sure, I can't envision getting married for a while (I've only recently gotten over the cootie stage; lol!) or having kids of my own for another 10-15 more years, but it's fun to dream. Besides, I don't think I'm the only teenager ever to dream of years to come. I shall deliver now the names of babies I have imagined before. What is in a name, anyways? Some people think that a rose by any other name would smell as sweet, but I tend to disagree. Several names I think would be quite lovely are followed. Some names hold special significance to me, because of a person I knew or a memory I have of many years ago, which are defined beside the names.

Aaron Russell In honor of one of my best friends, who made me promise I would name a child after her.

Ian Michael In honor of my good friend from Germany. Michael, in honor of my father, and also in memory of a close friend's stillborn brother.

Austin Noel One boy from every family on my dad's side has been named Noel for a very long time. My husband must live with this one because it is a family tradition.

Collin Chaise The former in honor of a friend who drowned three years ago, and in praise of his slow recovery

Dylan Mason The latter is in honor of my grandfather

Savannah Leigh Leigh, of course, after mua!

Monica Ruth Ruth is in honor of my penpal, also known as my dear Great-grandmother.

Rachel Denise In commemoration of my friend Rachel Barger, who died tragically almost 2 years ago, in tribute to one of the sweetest girls I ever met, and one of the most difficult things I have ever been through.

I would love to hear some of ya'lls names, if you have them. Maybe they won't make me cry as much as these did.

:) Nick said you had names all picked out. Well, Luthien is a very unique name. Actually it is pretty, too. Alright, yeah, I like it a lot!

Who the heck is "The World Famous Evan"? I feel deeply threatened. BTW, JC, weren't you the one who was saying having 8 kids was crazy not so long ago?

Ahem. Names posted are names to consider. The World Famous Evan is an SFA graduate who goes to my church. Yay Evan!!! He has a beautiful wife named Miranda who has a gorgeous voice and a twin brother named Ben.
