The Power of Love
by Eric Livingston
What in one's heart could make him swell up?
Putting strength in limb and joy in mind.
Forgetting all strife and memory of an overflowing cup.
Replacing the anger in words and making them kind.
How can a man who is hopeless beyond recall,
Who's only companion is sorrow
Suddenly gain the will to rise up tall,
the courage to hang on to tomorrow.
Anguish festers like a sunburn in the night,
While heartache governs the soul.
Far in the depths a fire shines, burning bright.
Pity flies fast into an endless hole.
Though my heart beats the old familiar stain,
And the road is wrought with signs of death,
One thing I vow to always remain,
I will keep hold of love with my dying breath.

Hey girl! Props to you for finding my blog. Whazzup in Nac? Been put putting lately? ;o)
It is you!!! Hve not been putting. I'm actually quite busy. I'm doing some campaign stuff for Wayne Christian, who is running for State Representative. I'm preparing for a debate tournament the beginning of April and for the annual ballet recital the end of May. My family is also preparing for the arrival of the newest baby, due in about 7 weeks. Other than that? Not much!
